Job summary

Penn State Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Student Nurse Tech (SNT) in Hummelstown, PA. Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an accredited nursing school with proof of completion of the first year/fundamentals of nursing.
• Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and procedures.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document vital signs and demographic data.
• Assist patients with bathing and hygiene.
• Manage intake & output, including urinary catheter removal.
• Deliver meals and feed patients who are unable.
• Transport patients and assist in physical examinations.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and patient rooms.
