The role is PRN, with a $20.00 hourly pay rate, and entails assisting with vital signs, patient care, and basic nursing tasks under RN supervision.

You will participate in patient care activities, documentation, transport, and basic examinations, adapting to patient needs and institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in nursing school with first-year completion proof.
• Knowledge of basic nursing techniques and aseptic practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and collect patient data.
• Assist with personal and daily care.
• Support intake/output, specimen collection, and urine/stool collection as directed.
• Assist with mobility, feeding, and patient comfort; document intake.
• Maintain room cleanliness and restock supplies; prepare room for occupancy.
• Provide age-appropriate care to patients aged 13 and older.
• Assist with patient transport and movement as needed.
• Assist with respiratory care as directed by RN.
