Job summary

Holton Community Hospital is seeking a Student Nurse Tech to support nursing staff across emergency, medical/surgical, and outpatient areas. You will assist with daily living activities, take vital signs, collect specimens, and help with basic procedures under RN supervision.

Active nursing enrollment, a KDADS CNA certification, and a current BLS are required. The role offers practical hands-on experience for nursing students while working a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification through KDADS.
• Enrolled in an accredited school of nursing; must complete at least first semester.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding).
• Perform basic nursing tasks: vital signs, specimen collection, phlebotomy, catheter removal, splinting, EKG.
