• Answer call lights and assist patients promptly and courteously.
• Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Monitor and document basic vital signs; report abnormal readings to the RN.
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning; assist with meals when indicated.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $20.00 per hour

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

As a Student Nurse, a typical day may include:

• Answers call lights and assist patients promptly and courteously,
• Contributes to the unit s overall patient satisfaction score by doing regular rounding, escalation of complaints and providing service recovery,
• Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting,
• Help patients with mobility, including transfers, walking, and repositioning,
• Support meal assistance and observe dietary restrictions as directed,
• Monitor and document basic vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration, as instructed,
• Promptly report to the RN any abnormal readings or patient observations identified while performing tasks delegated by the RN,
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in patient care areas,
• Provide emotional support, listen to patient concerns, and communicate observations to nursing staff,
• Help with stocking supplies and preparing rooms for admissions and discharges,
• Blood Glucose Sampling, if applicable,

• Currently enrolled in NLN-accredited Nursing Program. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Required.. Good communication skills. Knowledge of medical terminology. Able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Possess excellent customer service.
• Current Americal Heart Association BLS certification
