Qualifications

• Currently in a School of Nursing or an individual who has completed a nursing program but does not meet licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care with regard to age and developmental needs and assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Collects specimens, performs vital signs and documents intake and output.
• Performs nursing interventions under mentoring nurse and documents activities in the medical record.
• Informs nurse of changes in patient condition and supports patient and family education.
