We have an exciting opportunity for a Student Nurse Extern (Per Diem, Night Shift) in the Emergency Department. In this role, you will perform patient care procedures within the framework of the written care plan and under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will work closely with the RN to assess patient needs, implement care activities, and report responses. Your responsibilities include carrying out assignments under supervision, observing professional nursing care, and supporting patient comfort and safety.
Completion of at least one clinical semester focused on medical/surgical nursing in a nursing program. Effective communication skills are required.

The salary for this role is $20.00 per hour, consistent with New York State Law on Salary Transparency. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, and hospital needs.
