Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a motivated Student Nurse Aide to support residents in a long-term care setting. You will provide personal care under supervision, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Ideal candidates have completed 16-hour ADL training, good communication skills, and a desire to serve others. This role offers hands-on experience, training opportunities, and a supportive workplace culture in Texas.

Qualifications

• Has completed 16-hour ADL training from an authorized school/instructor.
• Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Shows self-discipline, patience and a passion for serving others.
• Can follow safety policies and procedures.
• Has basic computer literacy and can follow documentation protocols.
• Respects and adheres to the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents under supervision and within training scope.
• Change bed linens and maintain supplies in resident rooms.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics and devices.
• Routinely reposition residents and monitor skin integrity.
• Support nursing staff with non-nursing tasks (beds, water/ice, call lights, supplies).
• Assist with range of motion exercises and engage in reality orientation with residents.
• Identify and report any condition that requires management attention.

Your Impact as a Student Nurse Aide

• Provide personal care to residents (e.g., grooming, bathing, peri care, dressing) under supervision and within the scope of your training.
• Change bed linens and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
• Routinely reposition residents and monitor skin integrity.
• Support nursing staff by completing non‑nursing tasks such as making beds, passing water/ice, answering call lights, and organizing supplies.
• Assist with range of motion exercises and engage in reality orientation with residents.
• Identify and report any condition that requires management attention.
