About the Position

South Sub Church is looking for a passionate, relational, and energetic Student Ministry Director who loves Jesus and has a heart for helping the next generation grow in their faith.

We are seeking someone who is excited to build relationships, invest in students and families, and create a welcoming environment where young people can discover what it means to follow Jesus.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their ministry journey, including a recent college or seminary graduate, who wants to gain hands-on ministry experience while growing as a leader.

As our student ministry grows, there is potential for this position to develop into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with middle and high school students and their families.
• Plan and lead weekly student ministry gatherings, activities, and occasional special events.
• Recruit, equip, and encourage volunteers who are passionate about investing in students.
• Create an engaging, welcoming environment where students feel connected and encouraged to invite their friends.
• Help students grow in their relationship with Jesus through biblical teaching, discipleship, and authentic community.
• Partner with parents and families to support the spiritual development of students.
• Participate in the broader life and ministry of South Sub Church as scheduling allows.
