Qualifications

• Requires a master’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience.
• Licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independent Social Work in Clinical Practice (LISW-CP), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of South Carolina.
• If licensed in another state, must be licensed in South Carolina within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred qualifications include post-licensure experience and the ability to work with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide a broad range of time-limited counseling and psychological services to students including individual, couples, and group therapy.
• Develop, implement and manage the collaborative care program and serve as liaison between CAPS and SHWB medical providers.
• Collaborate with leadership to advance departmental goals and engage in professional development.
• Oversee data collection/analysis and prepare annual reports for university leadership.
• Provide crisis support and supervise graduate interns or trainees when appropriate.
