Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 18 semester hours in one or more behavioral sciences (i.e. psychology, sociology, anthropology, criminal justice, political science, etc.).
• FOUR (4) years (48 months) of direct patient care experience in a psychiatric or mental health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Support screening of primary care patients for mental health conditions.
• Implement and evaluate a course of action of each patient in cooperation with health service teams.
• Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being and support referrals from primary care to counseling services.
• Identify students with mental health concerns who may not initially present for counseling.
• Support medical professionals in screening for mental health conditions amid demand and staffing constraints.
• Contribute to overall health of university students through early identification and intervention.
