South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD seeks an Assistant Director of Student Activities and Orientation to oversee student outreach and the Office of Student Activities. This role supports RSOs, new student orientation, and related programs, while supervising staff and managing programs.

The position requires a master7s degree in a relevant field, at least 3 years in Student Affairs, strong budgeting and leadership skills, and a valid drivers license.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs Administration, College Student Personnel, or related field by start date.

Responsabilités

• Supervise Program Advisors and oversee student outreach functions for the Office of Student Activities.
• Lead support for RSOs, new recognition, contracts, and learning outcomes assessment.
• Develop and deliver university-wide training for student organization leadership and faculty/staff advisors.
• Create and manage social media and marketing messaging for services and processes.
• Support programmatic efforts for Fraternity/Sorority Life, University Programs, and University Traditions.
