Job summary

Management & Training Corporation operates the Joliet Job Corps Center in Joliet, IL and seeks a full-time staff member to supervise student government, the student union snack bar, welfare fund, and voting services in line with directives.

You will coordinate meetings, train student leaders, ensure health and safety compliance, maintain records, and support employability programs while delivering quality customer service to students and staff.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and one year related experience.
• Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of education
• Excellent written, verbal communications skills and computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student government association (SGA) and meetings.
• Supervise student union snack bar operators and operations.
• Ensure health regulations and safety compliance for the snack bar.
• Coordinate all SGA functions and welfare fund administration.
• Plan bi-weekly business meetings and maintain records.
• Chaperone events, coordinate voting activities, and training.
• Maintain accurate student records and support employability programs.
• Promote zero tolerance and professional conduct on center.
