Responsibilities

  • Support student outreach through email, phone, text, and in-person communication.
  • Assist students with questions and connect them with resources.
  • Help with advising, registration, scheduling, graduation, and other Registrar Team projects.
  • Prepare communications and materials for students and team initiatives.
  • Collaborate with team in meetings, training, and departmental projects.

Job description

This is a student employment position. Applicants must be currently enrolled at Highlands College to be eligible.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Registrar Team desires to help students complete their graduation requirements effectively and efficiently as they prepare to lead lives of eternal impact by fulfilling the Great Commission. The Student Journey Advisor serves alongside the Registrar Team to support students through outreach, communication, advising, and administrative projects. This role helps students stay informed, connected, and on track throughout their Highlands College Journey while serving as a bridge between students and the Registrar Team. With a heart to serve and attention to detail, the Student Journey Advisor contributes to a positive, consistent student experience.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support student outreach efforts through email, phone, text, and in-person communication.
  • Assist students by answering questions, connecting them with resources, and helping them understand the next steps related to their Highlands College journey.
  • Assist with student advising, support, follow-up, registration, scheduling, graduation, and other Registrar Team projects that help students successfully navigate their Highlands College journey.
  • Help prepare communications, resources, and materials for students and team initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when working with sensitive student information.
  • Participate in team meetings, training opportunities, and departmental projects.

Other Duties:

  • Affirm and uphold the Statement of Faith, Core Values, and DNA of Highlands College through word and lifestyle.
  • Participates in ministry opportunities at Church of the Highlands and Highlands College as aligned with their Highlands College journey.
  • Collaborate with students and teammates to support the mission of Highlands College.
