Where Next? Time to sign your contract and embark on your DEME journey!

As an intern in DEME’s Digital Office, you’ll work hands‑on on the organization of a company‑wide Security Awareness Week. You’ll help set up activities, create communication materials, support events, and coordinate practical actions for employees, from crew to office staff across all DEME entities. This internship is about doing: making security topics like cybersecurity and data protection clear, engaging, and relevant through an event that is part of a bigger awareness campaign.

Involved in all dredging and offshore projects worldwide, the survey department is responsible for the organisation of all hydrographic and topographic measurements in all phases of the works. We are looking for a Party Chief who will be responsible for all survey activities on board. Are you able to lead the team of surveyors?

As a Data Scientist within our engineering department, you will grow step by step into a key role in supporting our worldwide projects. You won’t be expected to know everything from day one, you’ll learn by doing, supported by experienced engineers and data scientists.

At DEME, our engineering teams constantly make predictions: how vessels will perform, how soils will behave, what environmental conditions to expect, and what emissions may occur. With an increasing volume of investigations, sensor streams and geospatial data, we can calibrate and improve these predictions, turning engineering expertise into smarter, data‑driven decisions.

As a Data Scientist within EDT, you’ll help bridge computer science and physical engineering. You will transform and analyze large‑scale sensor and geospatial datasets and challenge traditional, physics‑based engineering models with (hybrid) machine learning and probabilistic modelling. Your work will help projects worldwide make better predictions, supporting every phase from tender to preparation and execution, so we can confidently deliver extraordinary results in dredging, offshore energy, and marine infrastructure.

At DEME, reliable maintenance starts with reliable data. We are looking for a Digital Data Engineer to strengthen our CMMS team and take ownership of the next phase of our maintenance data digitalization journey.

In this role, you will act as the driving force behind maintenance data initiatives, ensuring that critical information from our vessels and newbuild projects is collected, validated, structured, and transformed into high‑quality digital assets. You will work closely with maintenance, reliability, fleet engineering, and IT stakeholders to ensure our maintenance management systems contain the right data to support efficient and reliable vessel operations.

The role combines project leadership, data governance, stakeholder management, and a strong affinity for maintenance processes and asset management.

Where next?

At DEME, we empower you to shape your own career journey. Guided by our values, we care, we dare, we deliver, we work together on complex and impactful projects that push boundaries and create lasting value.

To strengthen our Digital Office Team, we are looking for a Business Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business, processes and digital innovation. You will play a key role in translating business needs into sustainable digital solutions that support operational excellence across the organization.

At DEME, we work at the forefront of the energy transition, dredging, offshore, infrastructure, and environmental solutions. Within our geological team, you will contribute to complex marine and offshore projects worldwide, supporting innovative engineering through high‑quality geological expertise.

As Legal Counsel, you will be part of DEME’s legal department at headquarters, joining an ambitious and complimentary team of in‑house legal counsels, responsible for different geographical regions in the world, DEME business units and specialist legal domains.

More specifically, you will join the legal team supporting DEME Concessions’ worldwide activities. DEME Concessions is the investment vehicle of the DEME group, developing and investing in a diverse portfolio of projects across offshore wind, port infrastructure, green hydrogen and other special projects. Working closely with the business and DEME’s other supporting departments, you will provide legal support throughout the full lifecycle of these international projects, from early‑stage development and tendering to financing, contract award, and execution.

As a Technical Engineer – Offshore Systems, you play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of the specialized offshore equipment installed on DEME’s fleet of offshore vessels. The emphasis is on maintenance preparation, mobilizations, system integration and offshore equipment.

Working from our headquarters in Belgium, you provide technical support for a wide range of offshore systems used on our vessels, including lifting, handling, subsea and mission‑critical equipment. You prepare technical interventions, analyze operational challenges, and contribute to the continuous improvement of offshore systems across our fleet.

This is not a sailing or crew position. You are primarily based at our Belgian headquarters and support our vessels remotely, with occasional visits to vessels, shipyards, suppliers, or project locations when technical assessments or preparations are required.

By working across multiple vessels and offshore systems, you will gain exposure to a broad range of technologies and contribute directly to the operational success of DEME’s offshore activities worldwide.
