About the Department

The Transmission Service Studies Group performs power flow, stability, and short-circuit studies to determine the transmission system upgrades required for the interconnection of new generation resources to the New England grid. The department plays a key role in ensuring the future power system remains reliable while enabling the integration of significant amounts of new clean energy resources to help achieve the region’s carbon reduction goals.

What You’ll Be Working On
