Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Student, Intern to support the engineering department in day-to-day activities, including data analysis, document preparation, and project development. The position targets rising juniors and seniors majoring in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering and requires strong analytical and communication skills.

The role is onsite in Louisiana, with up to 25% travel. GPA of 2.8+, willingness to learn, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing undergrad in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering with GPA 2.8+.
  • Some work experience beneficial but not required.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Supports the engineering department by participating in the day to day activities of the group. Assignments are made for specific tasks based on the needs of the department, including data analysis, which include but aren t limited to walk-downs, preparation of documents, engineering tasks, root cause analysis, and project development

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum education required of the position

Pursing undergrad in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

General electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering knowledge. Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills; Must be proficient in MS office tools - Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Excellent organizational skills; Strong and positive team attitude and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize work and to handle multiple tasks; Ability to understand scope and objective of each assignment.
