Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. is seeking a year-round, part-time PAID hourly intern to support designers and engineers. Scheduling ranges from 12 to 29 hours per week, aligned with class calendars and semester changes.

The role requires classroom-based engineering or architectural study and a valid driver’s license. Candidates should be able to work within a project team, maintain schedules, and interact professionally with clients and co-workers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s engineering or architectural program.
• Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule; self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ideal candidates are students in 2nd semester Freshman year through Junior year.
• Interacts professionally with clients and co-workers in a team setting.

Job description

Position Summary: This is a year-round part-time PAID hourly position.

M3 is not sponsoring any type of work visa.

Basic Duties

• Commitment of a minimum of 12 hours and no more than 29 hours per week, scheduled work hours must be within normal office hours. Work schedule will revolve around scheduled classes and will change with each semester accordingly.
• Software and standards training.
• Assist designers and engineers with drawings, specifications, reports and other documents or duties as needed.
• Tasks such as: Copying, binding, printing drawings, books and manuals along with delivery of interoffice mail, stocking paper and supplies, running errands and miscellaneous tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s engineering or architectural program to qualify. Engineering disciplines that are supported by M3 are: Civil/Structural, Electrical/I&C, Mechanical, and Mining. Ideal candidates are students who are at least in their second semester Freshman year through their Junior year.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
