Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to perform calculations and the design of material handling systems in support of industrial projects.

You will specify and procure materials and equipment, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet project schedules. Responsibilities include assisting with equipment selection, coordinating with other disciplines, and conducting site inspections while maintaining professional client interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relative engineering design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Inventor and/or Revit, and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Able to work in a project team and maintain a schedule.
• Passport or ability to obtain one.

Basic Duties

• Perform site inspections and have direct interaction with clients.

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years relative engineering design experience is required.
• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Working knowledge and experience using AutoCAD, 3D modeling such as Inventor and /or Revit, and MS office.
• Candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects.
• Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
• A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
