Join our team! We’re seeking a Student Learner for Equipment Installation at Transport Refrigeration, Inc., in Oak Creek, WI. The student will work alongside an experienced technician to learn key points of the trade while acquiring valuable skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Installs APU units.
• Performs cab air heater and coolant heater installation.
• Performs new and used refrigeration unit installation.
• Performs cab air conditioning system installation.
• Assembles custom products or parts for customers or OEMs.
• Meets standard install times.
• Maintains a clean shop.

Job Requirements

• May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• An approved Education Training Agreement must be on file with the school AND the employer.
• A work permit may be required.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from work.
• Demonstrates a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Considerate and respectful attitude toward both internal and external customers.
• Highly motivated to do what it takes to get the job done.
• Willingness and ability to work with others and be a team player.
• Ability to write clearly and fill out work orders completely.
