Job summary

Qualifications

• Post high school education up to 18 months in radiology or nuclear medicine.
• One year as radiology student or completion of at least one nuclear medicine clinical rotation at Prisma Health.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic or nuclear medicine examinations under direct supervision. Ensures film quality and marks for dictation.
• Transports and positions patients; prepares rooms; maintains supplies and cleanliness.
• Explains procedure to patients and families; informs delays; trains other students.
• Charges procedures and supplies; operates PACS/EMR; ensures proper documentation.
