Qualifications

Purpose

The LBJ School HR team is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate work-study student to help with general HR tasks. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in administrative HR processes.

Responsibilities
  • Scanning paper files and organizing into UT Box
  • Help escorting faculty candidates around the building and receiving/distributing catering during candidate visits
  • Data entry (updating spreadsheets with course info each semester, software updates)
  • Event help with employee engagement events
  • General administrative tasks
  • Additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Be awarded Federal Work-Study on the Work-Study Verification (WSV)
  • Must be in good academic standing and enrolled in appropriate credit hours as required by the student’s academic or non‑academic title. Additional rules may apply in cases where stricter enrollment is required for Work-Study funds.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Pay Rate
