Hair Cuttery Family of Brands offers a FuturePRO Student to Work program designed for hairstylist or barber students. You will receive 90-day mentorship, new hire orientation, and advanced technical training while starting to earn in a supportive, salon environment.

As you progress toward licensure, you can access on-the-job training, guest access, and a path that offers commission opportunities and a potential earnings trajectory as you master clipping, fading, and color techniques.

• Current beauty school student ready to transition into a professional career.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
• Enrollment in a cosmetology program or beauty school.

Responsibilities

• Support the guest experience in the salon by assisting front desk and chair-side tasks.
• Develop craft through a training plan with Salon Leader.
• Observe and learn from licensed professionals and ask questions to improve skills.
• Build a strong clientele through product knowledge and service recommendations.

In The Salon, You Will

As a hairstylist student, you will be an integral part of the salon flow:

• Support the Guest Experience: Work the reception area and support all actions that influence the guest experience.
• Develop Your Craft: Participate in a training plan developed with your Salon Leader (SL).
• Professional Partnership: Partner with a licensed pro to perform consultations on select guests.
• Observe & Learn: Watch Salon Professionals as they work and ask questions to sharpen your skills.
• Business Building: Receive training on professional product knowledge, consultation skills, and how to build a strong clientele.
