Responsibilities

• Assist with safe supervision of students while riding district transportation.
• Support students as they enter and exit the bus, providing extra help when needed.
• Help students transition between bus and school/drop-off points.
• Assist with seating, seat belts, and safety restraints as directed.
• Monitor student behavior and reinforce bus safety expectations.
• Provide individualized support per district plans or directions from staff.
• Support students with communication, behavioral, mobility, or other needs during transport.
• Collaborate with the bus driver to maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Communicate student concerns or incidents to transportation and school staff.
• Follow district procedures on safety, confidentiality, emergencies, and transport.
• Participate in required training and professional development.
• Perform other duties related to student transportation and support as assigned.
