Job summary

Herzing University seeks a Financial Aid Administrator to oversee Title IV funding, counsel students on funding options, and manage disbursement processes. The role requires strong communication, organization, and prior Title IV experience.

You will collaborate with admissions and registrar teams, review student documents, and participate in ongoing process improvements to enhance student satisfaction and timely funding.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Well organized with attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 Years of Title IV administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Revise financial aid award packages due to updates (course schedules, breaks, eligibility changes).
• Troubleshoot disbursement rejects and resolve funding delays.
• Aim to improve student satisfaction and accuracy in processes.
• Demonstrate the PRICE of Success in daily tasks.
• Meet with new students to discuss funding needs and FAFSA requirements; review funding options including Federal Title IV funds, scholarships, state funds, and military funds.
• Review student documents and eligibility criteria to finalize financial aid awards using financial aid software.
• Provide gap funding options and guide students to meet their educational goals.
• Counsel students on financial literacy and responsible borrowing practices.
• Manage a student caseload and outreach for required documents, loans, and past-due balances.
