Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Fluency in the language of the target population served preferred.
• One year experience working with families and high school students of diverse backgrounds.
• A valid Arizona State Driver's License is required.
• Possess an Arizona Department of Public Service IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Family and Community Engagement team to plan and implement parent/guardian engagement workshops, events, meetings, and activities.
• Provide parental support to remove barriers to learning and support goal setting, SEL skills, and advocacy.
• Connect parents/guardians to appropriate staff, teachers, or programs to ensure access to information for student success.
• Assist parents/guardians with enrollment and access to extracurricular activities.
• Collect and review data to determine eligibility and monitor ongoing services.
• Encode breakfast/lunch tickets to maintain Provision Two status.
• Maintain records and follow district policies.
• Collaborate on home visits to provide support and deliver resources.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Perform clerical tasks and maintain student folders.
• Support dissemination of information to parents/guardians and data entry into SIS.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow district policies.
