Job summary

Joyson Safety Systems in Auburn Hills, MI invites a student to join as an Engineering Co‑op. Under supervision, you will assist in developing and analyzing airbags and components, compiling data, and supporting CAD work orders.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Co‑Op program with an accredited college or university as a full‑time student.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and analysis of products, materials, processes or equipment.
• Compile, analyze, test and research data for airbags and parts under supervision.
• Create part numbers, BOMs and release engineering orders in JSS systems.
• Prepare standard reports to communicate results to the technical team.
