Terms of Employment: Full time position (depending on start date), 40 hours per week. This position requires evening and weekend hours. Pay per Classified Salary Schedule- Category IV ($16.84-$25.69). The position qualifies for benefits including medical, life, and dental insurance. The District offers two medical plans fully paid by the District, a buy‑up option with majority coverage by the District, full employee premiums for dental and life insurance, and contributions to PERA. Employees also receive paid leave: 5 annual leave days and 6 sick leave days (depending on start date).
Under the general supervision of the MTSS Coordinator, the Student Engagement Specialist serves as a vital link between the school district, families, and the broader community to support student success. This role fosters effective communication, builds trusting relationships, and encourages meaningful family engagement in the educational process. By connecting families with school and district resources, community services, and support programs, the Specialist helps remove barriers to student learning and promotes a collaborative school environment. The position focuses on strengthening partnerships that enhance student achievement, wellbeing, and overall school improvement.
Assist guidance, pupil services staff, or building administration as needed. Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Travel between schools, or between schools and central offices, may be required for certain positions.
