The University of Oklahoma is seeking a student Yoga Instructor to develop and lead group exercise sessions for the Fitness and Recreation department. This role requires current undergraduate enrollment for Fall 2026 and the ability to teach yoga to diverse groups.
Responsibilities include planning science-based classes, motivating participants, and obtaining a Yoga Alliance RYS200 certification within six months. Background check is required.
Pay Range: Targeted Salary of $12 - $25/hr, based on education and experience

Using a variety of teaching and motivational techniques, this position will create a positive exercise experience. This position is a professional who teaches, leads, and motivates groups through intentionally designed exercise classes. They plan effective, exercise science-based group sessions for different fitness levels. They also possess a wealth of motivational and leadership techniques that help their classes achieve fitness goals. Instructors know the human body, the science of exercise, and how to inspire, challenge, and motivate change in the lives of the people they lead. This position is for employment beginning in the Fall 2026 semester. Training will begin immediately upon hire.
