Job summary

Ensign College is seeking a part-time Student Employee - Communication Program TA to support Canvas materials, assist adjunct professors, and help program students. You will coordinate course sections, monitor progress, and provide scheduling and tutoring support.

The role requires enrollment in at least 6 credits with good standing, strong written communication, and proficiency in Office 365 and Canvas. 15–19 hours weekly; starting wage $14.00/hour with potential increases each semester.

Qualifications

• Be currently enrolled as an Ensign College student taking at least 6 credits (3 per block) and in good academic standing.
• Ability to produce effective written correspondence through email and other written communication.
• Have the ability to communicate effectively, listen and respond appropriately.
• Proficient in Office 365 and Canvas.
• Experience with digital marketing, digital design, website SEO, photography, video editing, or audio production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help coordinate and manage Canvas materials for courses.
• Review and prepare class sections for each semester.
• Monitor progress for each section throughout the semester.
• Assist adjunct professors with substitutes, grading, scheduling, etc.
• Support program students with New Student Orientation and tutoring as available.
• Assist full-time faculty with ongoing projects and budget invoices/receipts.
• Maintain communications with program students and coordinate meetings with the Program Chair.
