Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Student Dishwasher at Wofford College. The position offers training and growth opportunities within a family-oriented culture.

Responsibilities include washing and cleaning dishes and kitchen gear, maintaining clean work areas, and supporting stock and waste management. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred, with emphasis on safety and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn standard cleaning methods and equipment used in dishwashing.
• Must be able to exert continuous physical effort including bending, walking and lifting.
• Previous dishwashing experience preferred.
• Maintain a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dish machine or by hand.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• May be responsible for receiving product from vendors, organize stock.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler.
