The role offers hands-on storytelling experience with alumni, students, and faculty, developing professional skills in journalism and digital media.

You will craft engaging spotlight articles, schedule posts, and help grow audience across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, while learning new workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
• Basic graphic design or content creation tools.
• Strong active listening, interviewing, and storytelling abilities.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new digital media workflows.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with alumni, students, and faculty to gather compelling stories.
• Write, draft, and edit spotlight articles based on interviews.
• Create, schedule, and post dynamic photo, video, and text content for social media accounts.
• Collaborate on digital campaigns to increase engagement and visibility for the humanities division.
• Demonstrate punctuality, professionalism, and a creative drive to pitch new content ideas.
