Rutgers University’s School of Public Health seeks a student assistant for the NJ Safe Schools program. The role involves assisting with program development, managing deidentified data, and preparing datasets for statistical analyses to support survey-based research and training evaluations.

Ideal candidates are Rutgers public health students with strong MS Office, writing, and data-analysis skills, and who can handle morning to early-evening shifts within a hybrid work arrangement.

Formación

• Current Rutgers public health student
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Prior data analysis experience in research data collection-to-management and analysis
• Knowledge of database types; research methodologies; hypothesis testing
• Proficient use of data management and analysis software (SAS, SPSS or similar like R)
• Must have a flexible schedule that allows for variable shifts throughout the week during morning and afternoon/early evening

Responsabilidades

• Assists the PI and NJSS Assistant Director with development of new and existing programs and research studies
• Contributes to overseeing deidentified data management systems for primary data collection and secondary data analyses (data from public government agency sources)
• Prepares datasets and provide supporting documentation for statistical analysis
