Qualifications

• Must be current high school student from Putnam City Schools District over 16 years old.
• Demonstrated aptitude for successful fulfillment of assigned performance responsibilities.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings and premises neat and clean at all times, including sidewalks and recreational areas.
• Sweeps classrooms and dusts furniture according to department schedules.
• Cleans corridors as required according to frequency schedules.
• Maintains restroom and locker room facilities per standards of sanitation and appearance.
• Washes all windows according to frequency schedules.
• Keeps the grounds litter free.
• Keeps all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in good repair.
• Reports necessary repairs to the immediate supervisor.
• Reports any damage to district property immediately.
• Remains on school premises as authorized and required by supervisory staff.
• Moves furniture or equipment within buildings as directed by staff.
• Complies with storage and disposal procedures for garbage and waste.
• Monitors property lighting and reports replacements to supervisor.
• Follows departmental standards for performance, safety, and energy management.
• Uses and maintains equipment to maximize service life.
