Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a competitive college; advanced degree preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and self-management abilities; multitasking.
• Ability to respond to feedback and implement changes quickly.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends or evenings.
• Belief that all students can succeed.

Responsibilities

• Building a transformative school culture aligned with Great Oaks values.
• Ensures staff are skilled in restorative practices and SEL handling.
• Designing programs that recognize and celebrate positive behaviors.
• Devising rituals that promote culture and school identity.
• Cultivating cultural competency and growth through programs.
• Building a support network by meeting with students and parents.
• Overseeing behavior management tools and staff training.
• Meeting with students referred by teachers and with parents.
• Ensuring fair, consistent consequences school-wide.
• Reviewing discipline data weekly and taking next steps.
• Implementing school-wide IT tools for reporting culture data.
• Documenting communications with parents on attendance and progress.
