Job summary

You will assist in content creation, editing and posting across SRSU platforms, coordinate with departments, and help maintain brand standards according to training. Open to undergraduate or graduate students with FWS.

Qualifications

• Must be awarded Federal College Work Study through Financial Aid.
• Must be enrolled at least half-time and in good academic standing.
• Maximum of 19 hours per week during academic sessions.

Responsibilities

• Attend, document and record campus events using smartphone, DSLR camera or camcorder.
• Create short-form videos, vlogs and visual content reflecting student life at SRSU.
• Assist in developing, recording, editing and posting content on official SRSU social media platforms.
• Collaborate with departments and student groups to promote events and initiatives.
• Follow brand guidelines and receive training on media capture, editing and storytelling.
• Support the Communications & Marketing team with organization of media, basic editing and proofreading.
• Participate in weekly meetings and office hours with communications and marketing staff.
• Represent SRSU professionally online and in person.
