The UF College of Medicine communications team is seeking a student assistant to support storytelling, digital content, and strategic messaging for the Quality and Patient Safety initiative (QPSi) at the UF Main Campus in Gainesville. This part-time role is open to UF students eligible to work on campus.

You will write feature stories, manage social channels, assist with WordPress and newsletters, and collaborate with designers to measure performance.

Qualifications

• Undergrad or grad UF student studying public relations, journalism, or communications.
• Resume and two writing samples required.
• 15–20 hours per week on campus.

Responsibilities

• Write feature stories and news briefs for internal and external audiences.
• Maintain the editorial calendar for QPSi content on social channels.
