Job summary

Tucson Unified School District is seeking a Library Services Assistant to manage the library at Cragin Elementary, ensuring materials are readily available to students and staff. You will communicate verbally, in writing, and via computer, and may collaborate with the on-site Library Media Specialist.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of AZ-certified assessment or equivalent, and two years of office or library experience with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• AZ Dept. of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test OR Associate’s Degree OR 60 Semester Hours of study.
• Two years of general office and/or library work experience.
• Verbal & written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall operation of the library and ensure materials are available to students and staff.
• Communicate verbally, in writing, and on the computer.
• May collaborate with on-site Library Media Specialist as needed.
