Job summary

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree with relevant credentials and have at least four years of industry experience. Proficiency with Canvas, Google Sheets, and Excel is desirable. The role involves advising, curriculum participation, and campus events.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for general education teaching.
• Minimum 4 years of industry experience since degree completion.
• Program courses may require a bachelor's degree plus credential in the field.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as assigned in accordance with SAE policies.
• Deliver instruction aligned with the Student-Centered Active Education model.
• Maintain a learning environment conducive to student engagement.
• Participate in academic advising, curriculum development, and campus events as requested.
• Maintain attendance records, submit grades and reports on time, and enforce SAE policies.
• Plan and prepare for classes and develop activities aligned with outcomes.
• Advise and support absent and high-risk students, document contact activities.
• Complete faculty development activities annually to improve delivery and knowledge.
• Maintain instructor eligibility per regulations.
• Supervise makeup sessions, provide tutoring and advising, support clubs, and substitute when needed.
