Southern New Hampshire University is seeking student employees to fill the role of Administrative Assistant for our partner organization Center for the Arts Lake Sunapee Region. The Center for the Arts (CFA) is looking for an Administrative Assistant to help with organizational needs of this growing organization. The CFA is at a critical juncture and needs support in organizing its information, tracking details, developing process, and creating lists to best manage the growing number of programs and events. It is great experience for someone interested in executive assisting, office management, information management, or marketing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the CFA team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling routine correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems for program documentation, vendor contacts, contracts, and event materials.
  • Assist with the development and documentation of internal processes, templates, and workflows to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Track event and program details, timelines, and task lists to ensure deadlines are met and logistics are coordinated.
  • Maintain databases of partners, artists, volunteers, and donors, ensuring information is current and accessible.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized
  • Experience with organizing information and writing
  • Comfortable with basic programs like MS Word, Google docs, Mondays.com are helpful but not required
  • Ability to organize information into groups and categories ideal
  • Experience streamlining processes ideal
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Research skills and sourcing helpful
  • Ability to work with limited direction
  • Responsible and reliable

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
