Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive patient assessment under the supervision of a Registered Sonographer.
• Obtain pertinent medical history from patient by observation or with oral communication under supervision.
• Assess patient’s physical ability to undergo imaging procedures as needed under supervision.
• Determine what patient care is needed during the procedure under supervision.
• Identify any contraindications to performing the procedure as ordered under supervision.
