Job summary

The University of Kansas is hiring student ticketing officers for KU Transportation Services on the Lawrence campus. You will patrol with a full-time officer or a fellow student officer in an LPR vehicle or ticket on foot using a handheld ticketing device, and help visitors in information booths.

You will also work with campus staff to ensure only permitted vehicles access Jayhawk Boulevard during restricted hours, and you will perform duties as part of a team emphasizing safety and customer

Qualifications

• Good command of English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling with another officer or alone in an LPR vehicle in an assigned area; or ticketing on-foot, writing parking violations.
• Relieving booth personnel for breaks and covering the booth during absence.
• Other duties as assigned.
