Job summary

Verida Inc is seeking a full-time bus/ride attendant in Little Rock, AR to assist Medicaid members during rides to and from appointments. You will perform daily transports, complete required paperwork, and inspect the vehicle before each shift to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires the ability to read safety rules and procedures, being at least 25, and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned daily transports in a safe and timely manner.
• Complete all paperwork required for transportation services rendered.
• Complete a daily inspection of the assigned vehicle before the start of the day.
• Assist students as they board and leave the bus and manage student behavior as well as report student discipline problems to the appropriate administrator.
• Communicate with teachers and parents on a daily basis regarding student behavior while on the bus.
