Job summary

Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Bus Driver (Part-Time) to safely transport students and authorized personnel to and from on- and off-site venues. Reports to President/CEO within the Transportation department.

Position is non-exempt and as-needed. The role requires a valid Texas CDL (Class B) with PS endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid Texas commercial driver license (Class B-CDL) with PS Endorsements.
• Ability to pass alcohol/drug screening and a criminal history background check.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Good attention to detail.
• Consistent access to email.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high safety standards and a clean driving record, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Provide good stewardship of organization resources
• Create accurate transportation logs and reports
• Be accountable to all key stakeholders, including students and families, donors, volunteers, the general public, staff and faculty, board, et al.
• Verbalize any concerns on student behavior to appropriate staff member
• Effectively represent the programs and entities of TCAA to the public, with great attention to the quality and service of excellence
• Others as assigned
