Responsibilities

• Drives multi-passenger vehicles to transport passengers.
• Complies with traffic regulations to operate vehicles safely.
• Maintains order among passengers during trips.
• Checks vehicle tires, brakes, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment.
• Reports bus malfunctions or needed repairs.
• Picks up and drops off passengers on-time at designated locations.
• Maintains knowledge of first-aid procedures.
• Prepares reports on passengers, trips, hours worked, mileage, and fares.
• Reads maps and follows geographic directions.
• Regulates heating, lighting, and ventilation for passenger comfort.
• Keeps bus interiors clean.
• Reports delays or accidents via phone or radio.
