Job summary

Potosi R-III School District Transportation is seeking a Part-Time Bus Aide to assist the bus driver in safely transporting students to and from school and related activities in Potosi, Missouri.

The role requires a part-time schedule of 3 hours per day with a hourly pay of $16.75. Starting date is immediate; benefits are not provided. Citizenship/residency or work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Enjoys working with children.
• Patient, dependable and responsible.
• Able to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Able to follow safety procedures.
• Previous experience working with children is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help students safely get on and off the bus.
• Monitor students during the bus ride and maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Assist students who may need extra help.
• Follow school and transportation safety rules.
• Communicate with the bus driver and school staff regarding student needs or concerns.
• Help ensure students remain seated and follow bus rules.
• Report any safety, behavior, or student concerns to the appropriate staff.
