Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists bus driver in maintaining bus discipline, managing students, helping students to fasten seat belts, and securing wheel chairs and restraints.
• Interacts with students to create a positive environment and proper behavior on the bus.
• Instructs students on proper behavior and writes up bus referrals as needed.
• Keeps the interior of the bus clean and free of trash.
• Follows district policies and procedures.
• Takes precautions to protect students.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information.
• Attends monthly school bus safety meetings.
• Performs additional duties assigned by the Director of Transportation or bus driver.
