Job summary

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a full-time Student Behavioral Coach to join our School-Based Services team in the Child & Family Services Division.

The role provides school and community-based case management, skills training, and other supports to children and families across Vanderburgh, Posey, Gibson, and Warrick counties in southwestern Indiana, with options for 10- or 12-month schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and with children with serious emotional problems.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting Indiana minimum coverage.
• Pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide school and community-based case management, skills training/development, and other services to children and their families.
• Work with children referred from schools and departments (DCS, Juvenile Probation, System of Care) and referral sources.
• Maintain records of services, reflect progress, and document treatment plans and goals.
• Submit reports according to established time frames.
• Coordinate with community agencies and refer services as needed.

This position will work on our School-Based Services team in the Child & Family Services Division. Student Behavioral Coaches provide school and community-based case management, skills training/development, and other services to children and their families throughout our assigned counties in southwestern Indiana, including Vanderburgh, Posey, Gibson, and Warrick.Please note that the candidate selected for this role may choose between a 10-month or 12-month position. For 10-month employees, the work schedule aligns with the school calendar (August 1 – May 31).
