Job summary

GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY is seeking dedicated student assistants for Audio Video equipment setup and operation during events on campus. Successful candidates will support events by managing AV technology across various locations, demonstrating strong organizational skills, and maintaining a positive demeanor.

This role requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be full-time students enrolled at GCU, maintaining a minimum GPA.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be enrolled as full-time students.
• Must maintain specified GPA and academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Support events throughout the main campus and 27th Avenue.
• Set up and tear down audio, video, and lighting equipment.
• Operate audio, video, and lighting equipment during events.

Skills

Strong computer and organizational skills

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs individually or 70 lbs team lift

Ability to work with a variety of people

Ability to work independently and in a team

Ability to handle stressful situations

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to work a variety of hours

Education

Full-time enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program at GCU

2.0 GPA for Bachelor or 3.0 GPA for Master
