Auxiliary Services – Student Auxiliary Service Assistant

The Auxiliary Enterprises team is looking for a Student Auxiliary Service Assistant on the PennWest Edinboro campus.

This Student Auxiliary Service Assistant role involves reviewing on-campus auxiliary operations and equipment for appropriate signage, proper pricing, functionality, testing operations, and logging maintenance needs. At $7.25 per hour for 8 hours per week, this flexible part-time position is designed to fit a busy class schedule. Hours must be scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:15am – 3:45pm

Position Overview

As a Student Service Assistant, you will walk to different buildings to make sure campus auxiliary services such as dining, vending, OneCard, laundry and other associated services are functioning appropriately. You will review services, check prices, look for broken items, and help keep machines ready for students to use by reporting any issues or errors.

Key Responsibilities

• Price Checking: Walk a set route of campus buildings to inspect and verify that all pricing labels on vending and laundry machines are correct and up to date
• Machine Testing: Test the operations of each machine (e.g., test washer cycles, run coin slots, check and test operations for vending machines, etc.) to ensure everything is working correctly.
• Reporting & Logging: Write down any machines that are broken or need repairs into an online system or daily logbook.
• Service reviews
• Other duties as assigned
