Job summary

The System Office of Audit and Compliance Services is seeking a Student Auditor to assist the internal audit team with their responsibilities. This position is located on the UAF campus in Fairbanks, AK and is a part-time, Student Assistant 2 role with pay starting at $14.96/hour.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student enrolled in a bachelor's program for accounting, finance, or related field.
• Must be enrolled in the university system with a minimum of six credit hours in the current semester, or have been enrolled in the preceding semester with six or more credit hours and plans to enroll next semester.
• Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA or approval from the chancellor or designee.

Responsibilities

• Follow an established written program.
• Perform account analysis.
• Review for compliance with relevant policy, procedures, or standards.
• Identify and suggest areas for improvement.
• Prepare written summaries that are factual, clear, and concise.
• Communicate audit results using email, virtual meeting, and in person.
